Tutorial 5: How to remove marking marks on steel before galvanizing ?

The stripping of a steel marked with Ecrimetal or a steel which has traces of painting is obligatory before surface preparation and galvanization, otherwise there will be defects on the surface marked with the Ecrimetal. There will be defects on the surface marked by the paint

So how ?

We have tested and compared the efficiency of 4 paint strippers as well as their safety features for men, and environmental protection.

We selected one for you.

Manual :
– Shake the cleaner
– Spray directly on the steel
– Allow to dry for about 5 minutes
– Wipe with a cloth.

It’s simple, Spray, Let dry, Wipe. There you go !

After soaking in the preparation baths, then drying and galvanizing, no trace remains of Ecrimetal or paint.
